Privacy

Hotkey Runbook is local-first. The desktop app does not send your runbooks, parameters, command output, trusted-folder records, or execution history to us.

What stays on your device

Trusted directory signatures, a randomly generated device signing key, redacted execution history, theme preference, and any pasted license token are stored locally. Secret parameter values are used for the requested process and redacted before history is written.

Network requests

The app works offline. It contacts the Sociobot billing API only when you add or revalidate a paid license. The website requests the public GitHub release manifest to choose the right download. We ship no analytics, ad pixels, third-party fonts, or runtime scripts.

Purchases

Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and processes checkout and refunds under its own legal terms. Hotkey Runbook receives only the license verification result needed to unlock paid features.

Your control

Remove trusted folders in Settings, clear history in the History view, remove the local license in Settings, or uninstall the app and delete its app-data directory. For privacy questions, contact privacy@sociobot.in.
